While planning and operating PV systems we gather a lot of ideas for new products. This varies from a new design for a PV module clamp to an aesthetically pleasing mounting structure or even an online service for PV monitoring. To develop the products, we usually organise an interdisciplinary project team with project partners from different companies. The manufacturing and distribution of the products is taken over by industry partners. If requested, we also accompany the further development and marketing of products on behalf of the manufacturer.
To develop novel or interdisciplinary products as e.g. the online monitoring system "SPYCE" we regularly take part at national, European and also international research projects. This comprises e.g. research projects of the federal government for energy, projects from the EU research programme, UNO programmes, projects of the IEA (International Energy Agency), the ESA (European Space Agency) and others.
We set a main focus on the system optimisation regarding economic, technic and aesthetic aspects. The results from the research projects directly influence our other fields of work as e.g. planning and lead to optimal solutions for our customers.
